A bunch of vikings arrive to the north of Spain and decide to go further in land instead of staying in the coast. As a result they get lost and have to face the "friendly" and "easygoing" spaniards.
A proyect I started long time ago and never finished, but I got this scene.
Pencil colors and a better quality scanned drawing than the first one
Wow! I'm not sure if I like everything going on, but I feel like it would lose something if it wasn't. The coloring is awesome, but the picture does seem very flat. I would try to add some more depth somehow. I don't think that cloud was needed, and the left side seems more detailed than the right. It seems a tad strange. My favorite parts are the rocks, cliffs and trees. Not sure if I like the "AAYYYY!" in the picture either, it's a little unneeded. I do love all the time you put in this though. I hope I helped.
Fantastic work you have done here. I must commend you. The detail you have incorporated is astounding, from the shading on the rocks to the individual pencil strokes for separate blades of grass. Well done. Your art is bright and colourful, and it entertains the eye. A bit overwhelming in details (there is simply so much going on!), perhaps, but still visually appealing when you sit down to look at it. The only thing I would really like to address is the depth/dimensions. Although I see and acknowledge your efforts to add depth into the layers of this drawing, I find it lacking somehow. It seems rather flat. I am not sure if you have encountered this problem before in your work or it is an occourance simply coinciding with this picture as a result of the cartoonish nature that it has been drawn in, but I thought I would address it. Other than that, well done. You are an artist.
There is also a lot going on in this work. In this way it's a piece that compels you to study its landscape, its many characters, and their interactions. Even after reading the description you've written, the work demands that we once again look at it in order to find out what happens next. It's art with a story.
I like the colours in this drawing. Quite vibrant. My only critique would that the characters to seem to get lost in the background in some areas. I think either the background or the colour of the faces might need to be more opaque. Otherwise, I like it
